so finally had my first lay down (thank god for my armored leather), but part of my plastics shattered into like 6-7 pieces. what is the best way of going about fixing this? doesnt have to be perfect

Plastic welding is maaaaaaad fun! Its like magic. Learn that. Its a good skill.


In the meantime.......Fake carbon fiber tape. Saves weight.

jsut buy new after market ones or you can try this if on a tight budget

1) sand the surface both back and front of the parts with heavy grit sand paper.
2) buy some jb weld and apply some on the seams before putting the pieces together. use duct tape to hold till it dries.
3)Once dried apply more jb weld on the back side. be generous. once dried sand the front smooth and either wrap it or spray paint it and hope it holds.

drill 2 small holes across from each other on each side of plastic. put a zip strip through it and tighten. keep repeating until you have it all sewed back together.
