The only thing I don't like about the "old" lt1 is the opti, and there are ways around that.

i'm comparing it to the new one is why i say its shitty.

i don't have anything against old lt1s.

It'd be different if it was a legendary engine.

But the LT1 didn't really put up amazing numbers or were even popular for tuning lols.

im sure you could fit it in your car but im sure a new lt1 motor will cost quite a bit so its all about the funds available but for the price it would probably cost to buy a new lt1 you could probably build a better motor
