So my Scion FR-S finally came in! Took so long to ship it from Japan -.- then it took 2 week nap in Long Beach.

Anyways, here are some of the first pics.

So since I work for Toyota (not a dealership), I was able to get all the currently offered accesories and parts at a discount of course. The only TRD part offered was the air filter which I got. Very nice car, definitely for per dollar value. Anyways, Christmas bonus came in and tax season is coming up, so I want to get an idea of what I should start working on. The tires are interesting. Prius tires, but they feel pretty good for the car. However, I did start "drifting" unintentionally  not sure if it was just a fluke or actually because of the tires, but I'll get more driving done this weekend.

Any suggestions?

replace the tires first. they have such shit grip and its not safe to keep them on if you don't drive like the oldest grandma in the world.

The tires aren't that bad... If you want decent info go to ft86club.com the forums are really helpful. Best bang for buck upgrades are header back exhaust (I'm going either perrin or invida) and a tune. There's not many intakes that produce power atm but perrin should be dropping one with their intake with a tune soon

Grats on the car, it's a fucking blast.

the tires are just touring tires, so yea i would swap em with re70's or something. Get a AOS/Oil catch can cus that's one of the major flaws with these cars

Do you even own the car? I highly doubt it the way you're talking about it. The Prius tires let give you enough grip for regular driving and let you have some fun if you want to kick out the back. They are not however all season tires so snow/freezing rain isn't possible...if that matters to you don't get a small rwd car though.

There's no turbo so very little blow by from the engine. If you plan to stay na the catch can will serve little purpose. I am getting one more for engine dressing than Anything else.

those tires look like pizza cutters. I dont think I would defend them on a car built to handle well. Wider and stickier >

You are buying a catch can for looks?

Nice. Shopping list window stickers must be next.
