im a certified A&P mechanic and machinist
im not a registered welder but mig, tig, and oxy acetylene welding programs was required to complete the course. (our class was the first to use miller welders new welding training facility in oshkosh.. its a badass complex :P)
id trust an a&P mechanic over an ase certified due to the fact the a&p actually takes more then reading a book to get it lol
not certified in heavy equipment but i been working on that stuff since i was a kid at teh farm, and i operate the stuff almost daily.. experience is the best education imo, so to hell with getting certified.
couple pics of our bigger machines, excavator, semi's, dozers
