I don't mid spending a bit more on window films because I live in Thailand and its hot everyday of the year. But I heard things like v Kool disturbing all the electronic devices in car even screws up your phone signal and GPS. And I heard even remote doesn't function properly? And its gonna cost a lot more compared to 3M or Lamina

So my question is
Does v Kool really fail ?
How much better is it ?
Any comments perhaps?
Worth the money or no?

It's for 2012 all new ford focus btw.

P.S I think it came out in the US a year ago. But Tw latest edition 4 door focus is what I'm talking about, and it's got a awful load of electric gadgets inside.

I have seen some videos on the matter, and none of them have said anything about gadgets not working.
Now... if your remote uses an infared signal, it would make sense as the vkool blocks nearly all of the infared energy put to it.
The other electronics... I do not believe will malfunction.
Only one way to be absolutely sure though ;)

It only blocks infrared heat. Having your car parked in the sun all day it will still heat up like an oven. Crack a window.

Its true that it will heat up, but it does so at a much slower rate with the film. You don't get fading or warping of your interior components, etc. It also makes your cooling system (a/c) work more efficiently once you've cooled it off a bit.

Plus... this is Thailand we're talking about.... Its as hot as Satan's nutsack 24/7/365. So any small measure going in the right direction is a major help!
