Is it worth to pick this up? My Scion FR-S is arriving in 3 weeks, and I just got notified that I have 7 more days to add anymore accessories to the car since it is on a boat from Japan right now. I work for Toyota so the cost doesn't matter. If anyone has had TRD parts experience, that would be cool. There are a couple FR-S in our parking lot at work, but none of them have the TRD air filter since it was a relatively new accessory they just made available when outfitting the car in California.

What you should really get are a better set of tires. The stock options, Ive read, come up short.

From what I test drove, yes they could feel a little more sticky as they feel pretty slick with those Prius tires but honestly it does make it kind of interesting to drive like that. Plus, those upgrades are after the car arrives. I'm taking advantage of all the factory/accessories that I can outfit the car with since everything is dirt cheap as a Toyota employee.

it sounds like you already had your mind made up

but yeah I would definitely be opting for some new tires and rims if I were you. Prius tires are pretty pathetic lol

Cheap or not I still have to pay :p which is why I'm trying to be sure, because there wouldn't be any kind of refund/return policy for this.

They honestly aren't that bad. You should test drive an FR-S. Despite how bad it sounds that it uses Prius tires, it works fine. Obviously not amazing, but for stock it is adequate.
