If its just amp/sub takes 3-5 hours to do a good job and depending on the vehicle with 1 person working on it. 2 people usually cut time in half, SUVs usually take longer.

E/ for 180 just for labor?

You make sure they do a damn good job, I used to do it for 85 lol without parts.

like 6 minutes. connecting and running all the wires to the amp takes the longest. power, ground, remote, and signal wires.

180 is rape for just an amp.

most places around here charge around 250$ for cd deck, amp, sub box+ 2 subs, 2x 6x9's, and 4 tweeters to get installed and wired up.

it depends on a lot of things

what kind of amp IE: is it a mono amp just to subs or is it a 4 channel amp running to 4 different speakers, are you running those channels in series or parallel

also do you already have wire going to the location of where you want the amp? if not you will have to do that

I installed both of my amps personally within 4 hours but I was doing much more than just installing amps I had to run the wire from my battery all the way to the rear of my Suburban where my subs are and installed 6 speakers and a head unit

1 amp can take between 1-2 hours depending on the work involved
