Do you have this build thread on any forums besides jsp?

/probablybeenmentionedalready

Yup.

On hybridz.org

and

The Car Lounge - 6th largest automotive forum on the internet (apparently) Also, despite what the link says, it is not a volkswagen site. It is a communal site used by many publications, such as Kilometer magazine.

To be completely honest....Before I posted to the car lounge, I used JSP exclusively, essentially to feel it out, and see how much hate I'd get.

The overall success here prompted my posting on TCL

So any success I have there is directly because of you motherfuckers.

Very true. The trailer only moves 5 miles a year. Once the boat is in the water, it lives on a lift for the Summer and Fall, then takes the 2 mile journey home, as it did a week ago, before winter hits.

That said, the trailer never fit the boat right. I intend on replacing it completely with something larger, and turning this one into a utility trailer, hopefully in the upcoming season.

-I'm finishing up the dash plug today, hopefully, so I'll update accordingly this evening.

Dash plug is done.

I'll begin the process of making the mold in the next couple days.

And a final weight on the revised console.

420 grams.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

I won't get to finish the mold until, most likely, Friday..... But I applied the "surface coat".

next step: lay up about 60oz of fiberglass to the surface coat.

Tomorrow I install the new seals and the driveshaft/pinion flange. Then, once I get my rear cover gasket, the diff can go in the car.

Then it's on to the axles! I need boots.
