so let me get this straight

You apparently make more money than us, you drive a Ford Focus and Nissan, and you made all your money installing floor mats in your little vinyl wrap shop?

Not everyone goes around showing their money. Just saying

It's people like you that keep my company in business.
I probably make more from my WeatherTech contract than your shop nets.

I own a z32 and a Ford Focus.

So just because you live a boring life, I'm a one-upper? Gotcha.

Is your z stock?

Factory NA that I bought in April and had some fun in.
Bought an NA because the motor is base 10.5:1 compression as to the TT's 8:1. As well as the rear end being 4.08 instead of 3.63(?)
Motor is currently out and disassembled, being machined and painted.
Twin GT2860RS disco potatoes with full 3 inch exhaust as well as 3in planar piping.
ASHSPEC SMICs, top feed injectors spraying corn being managed by a HALTECH elite 2500.

Hoping for 850 on a conservative tune.

hoping for 850 what? horsepower? in ur fkn dreams m8 that turbo probly only holds 300hp because 90% of them arent even garret they are ebay turbos

you are literally better off going to a junkyard and taking 2 of the stock turbos and you will get the same power

and i hope you are swapping the whole entire bottom end of your VQ

you will also need new heads because with the stock heads you will 100% have too much compression and will shoot rods through or oil pan or something cool along those lines

i guess you could just stack like 4 headgaskets and call it a day though

Directly from garrett, 2 of them.

And it's a VG, not a VQ. completely different motors..
The only thing that NEEDS to be changed, are the wrist pins. Everything else will hold. But yes I'm going fully forged. Stock heads are fine, but they're getting a port and 5 way valve job.

850 on corn with the right tuner, and I have him. Is totally feasible. He's expecting me to hit 1k but I don't have such high hopes.

This thread reminds me of the brains scrambling sensation I had when I read a Wrinkle in Time in 3rd grade.

So if you are having a forged bottom end built for it why did you care about the stock SCR?

Because it's not just in the piston. It's the size of the compression chamber on the head. Saved me some money having it milled and decked.
