So at what point does YOUR preference in the size of a car become to deciding factor for whether or not other people like it?

Why so defensive? I didn't say it was slow although I can see where a 5.0L 2011 GT would seem fast if you drive a 3 valve 4.6 S197. I wasn't stepping on your toes. Where I come from there are very few things that fall in to the "Fast" category straight off the showroom floor. A mid-high 12 second car is not one of those. Thus, "quick."


Wait, don't you just have a CAI and exhaust on that 07? If so I wouldn't parade around using the word "modded" like it means it's faster. Your CAI and exhaust did about as much as the CAI and exhaust on my diesel.

I was sharing my personal preference....NOT trying to force my specifications onto others.....Anyone with common sense can figure that out. The whole motto for the BRZ is that speed is not everything when it comes to cars......SO FAR it's succeeding....so far.


FAST VS QUICK

If you don't consider a mustang GT to be fast....you have extremely high, almost-moronic standards.

This is my opinion...Yes this is 0-60 and are not as important as quarter mile, I know.

8seconds+ =slow
6-7.9=quick
4.5-5.9=fast
3.0-4.4=very fast
under 3 seconds=holy shit

Anything I can drive to a dealer, finance <50k, and drive to the track is not abnormally fast. Why? Because that car is likely everywhere because it is quick and affordable.


By your standards my Formula was "Very Fast" with just heads and a decent sized cam. It trapped <120mph which makes it a bit of a joke at the drag strip compared to things that are actually "Fast." I know speed is relative and everyone's opinion is different. That's why a BRZ would not be for me. Honestly it is too slow. I respect what the car is supposed to be and I understand the idea. It would need another 150hp for me to consider it.


But hey, you read the reviews man, you should know.

You simply have a high standards of what is fast.....Yet in the practical sense, you're completely wrong.

I NEVER mentioned ANYTHING about track OR modded cars......
