We're very different types of people, you (grease monkeys) and I. Personally, I don't care about a car's track/street performance nearly as much as how it looks or sounds or the image it projects.
In my field, it is important to carry a certain image as it will indirectly determine how much money you can get (via meeting clients, cutting proposals, impressing the big boss in the greens, etc). That cannot be attained by driving anything less than what I use. For your purpose, maybe you want something different. Just remember I never started anything until you attacked me first.
That last statement is utterly false. I'm not a grease monkey, i'm a performance car enthusiast. I don't work on people's daily drivers. I am slowly working my way into real estate, and i have a nice vehicle to drive to meetings that require it. You attacked me based on the assumption that the 7 year old picture of my formula was indicative of what i can afford to own. I have 4 other vehicles, all newer than that one.
Don't judge a book by it's cover.
Edit: to your edit, your car is not crap because it's stock. Your attitude and the shit you talk is crap because your car is what it is and it's stock. My formula build is a race car. You don't start a race car build with a $70k car. I don't get hard off 1/4 mild times. It's the entire persona of the car. You still don't get it and it appears you won't. Like we said days and days ago, you aren't a car guy. That's fine. Stop talking shit and move on.
