You keep telling people to stop making assumptions yet you are making the most of anyone. Did you notice i never said you should care what i think (because i don't care what you think)? I was just letting you, and everyone else, know that i remembered why i don't like you and gave my reasons. I'm not a sheep, i could buy a C7 Z06 if i really wanted one, and i work on my cars because i'm a car guy and i ENJOY it. It's a hobby. I respect the cars owned by the guys that sign the dotted line but they never really "get it" because they haven't put the effort in. That's fine. I usually walk off when they start talking shit which they nearly always do. Just as you have done here... Buy your C7 Z06. Pay someone to mod it for you. Quote the magazine 0-60 times...
The look of rage on your face when someone makes fun of you for knowing nothing about how your own $95k sports car works will make putting up with all that worth it. You are making fun of "peasant" gearheads but they know you can't "Chip" a C7 Z06. In that moment your income doesn't matter. What are you going to do? Yell "oh yeah" and slap the guy in the face with your W2? Lol...
Going around pretending everyone is jealous of your income is all you have holding things together. What a bomb it will be if/when you finally realize there is more to life and plenty of good people out there really don't care what you make. I'm genuinely sad for you. Wolf to wolf...
I never said chip the c7 lol. I was talking about chipping cars in general... for example with my 2014 cla45. Which by the way, FYI Epicexecution, it is fully paid off. This is not me rubbing my income in your face to brag, I'm simply explaining that I can tell that you belong to the 25% bracket (aka poor in my opinion) simply based off your commends/statements. Richer and poorer people will have different mindsets and different ways to look at things. (Here's an example, Scene 1) Poor guy drops iphone 6: "ermahgerd i'm so sad day is ruined blah blah because it took me a month to save up for this thing" vs Rich guy who drops iphone 6: "fuck I have to make another trip to apple, what a damn hassle").
I like cars in a different way, but because it is not in agreement with you (or you can't relate), you attempt to put me down to make you feel better about yourself. Truth is, the poor man is always more jealous of the rich man. C'est life. The fact that you assume I have to lease a "more expensive" car and spent an "omg" amount on d2 or have a trust fund speaks volumes about you. I'm by no means some bill gates, but I'm fortunate enough to have made my own success and that is something I'm proud of. Hell, my parents work blue collar jobs and I pay their mortgage on top of mine. Still have money to play. @26, I'll chalk that up as successful. Thats the difference between us.

well said. I'll be the first to admit that the value of money is not the number on the bill itself. It's how much enjoyment each bill can give you. People laugh when they realize the amount of money i've invested in cars and trucks over the years. Sure, i could have invested in better things and had far more money then I do today but I'm not the kind of person that gets a hard on when I see a big number in a bank account. That number doesn't mean anything to me honestly. As long as I can enjoy my life and provide for my family and help those that need help. I could give a shit less what number pulls up on my accounts... I was lucky enough to turn a hobby into a great profiting business that I truly enjoyed. You should have seen the faces of those that understood my situation when I told them that I am closing the doors, moving to Houston and getting into Printing. Fact of the matter is that Printing is enjoyable to me (not as much as the diesels by any means) and it allows me to do the things I mentioned previously without being strapped to a business for 16 hours a day. I have time for me and my family and there is no monetary value on that. The fact that I make a little more than the average person allows me to do things that some people can't but I'd trade that away in a heartbeat if there was a better way for me to spend time with my family. As of right now there isn't and probably wont be for a long time.
Hey man, nothing wrong with not being as fortunate, in the end, it is how happy you are with you life. If you can make due with 50k so be it, but I'm not going to sit there and watch some peasant talk down to me to cover up his insecurities.
