im kind of wondering how he paid $87k for it myself.
went to their website..full options, packages, extended warranty...$80k
I just went on the website myself and built my exact car, and it was at 85k. I obviously didn't pay full MSPR, it was haggled down some. But, my M3 has literally every option available.
Plus the gas guzzler tax, dealer fees, delivery fees, etc.

why would he need to? he could just wait out that decade and pay $10k for it.
Sure, for the people who don't mind looking like a pleb in a 10-year-old vehicle.

only thing is i would never buy one brand new. 3-4 years and it will be worth half of what you bought it for.
you can buy 2008s and 2009s for ~35-45k. these cars depreciate relatively quick.
True, but I don't mind eating the extra costs to have up-to-date models.
