and ~$3,000 in parts (not counting minor shit like sandpaper, fuel line, bolts, etc)

This is a high build primer. Going to wet sand tomorrow and MAYBE apply another coat (I doubt it though)

I plan on rocking this paint job until I can afford to have a shop do it. The goal was for it all to be one color and we achieved that so I'm happy!

Just have to mount/balance tires and register/insure it then it's drivable!

Also (behind the scenes) I took the gas tank out and finally replaced the fuel sending unit. Drained and rinsed the gas tank out and installed a new filler tube also!
