Magazines are written by people who have built something, genius.

It's a band aid fix. If your car is running so high that you need it to keep it from blowing, you're only covering up the problem.

If your alcy fails, your engine blows. Fix the real problem and you won't have to spend money on such a gay mod.

you are an idiot, seriously

when you mod somthing to the point of what i did, having alcohol injection isnt even an option, its a must.

the only theoretical way to "fix the problem" according to you would be to return the car to stock.

there is no problem, you run 30+ psi, that compressed air is hot as fuck, - alcohol cools it

with running that much boost, you have to run equivelent fuel, which together, creates a piss ton of compression and when ignited, an assload of heat- alcohol keeps the air/fuel charge from exploding (detonation)
/ vs an even burn

it also prevents preignition, so when yur running that much boost and fuel, it can ignite the charge just off the pressure in the cylinder before the iginitin event, alcohol stops that

and with the alcohol being injected, it helps cool the cylinder head and walls just by contact, and because alcohol "burns cold" it lowers EGT's by alot... WOT b4 alcohol in my r/t was close to 2000F, with it its around 1300 WOT

heat destroys parts, and without alcohol on a heavily modified engine, you are aloking for alot of problems / short engine lifespan

people have run over 60 psi already.

so for me to run 30-40, isnt that much in comparison

heres a car with 925whp on a spirit r/t engine.

You realise how little that motor actually has in comparison to yours, correct? 95% of that motor is replaced parts.

E/- It's not even a stock block, rofl

so is mine, only thing not stock n my engine, is the crank and rods
i use the stock crank and rods cuz they are forged 4130 chrome-molybdenum, and have been able to support around 600hp.. no one has ever tried going higher but that what they can hold as far as we t3 guys know.

no need to place those parts unless they break... which might take a while lol...

my cyl head on blck was cryo-treated at the machine shop where they did the boring / honing

I love how you get schooled in the computer forum just as much as here. Why do you even go on this forum if everybody thinks you're a fucking idiot?
