Thanks, I share these same thoughts.

Today I had some fun. Went to Jo Ann's fabric and bought some faux suede to wrap my OEM top sections.



This is mostly some practice for the inevitable alcantara that will happen down the line.

All I know is I couldn't be happier with how this is going to look. Exactly what I had imagined for so long. Very pleased, even just mocked in place, unattached, it looks great.



And yes. That is the same fender welting that I've used on my flares and various other places on the car. :D Simple clean solution.

Outer bearings are installed, and packed. Tomorrow I will install the inner bearings, and pop these babies in place.
