honestly the marine core is about 5x more pussie than it was 30 years ago it used to be way more intense now half the old techniques are illegal

but yea its crazy what they have to go through

least we dont line up like back in revolutionary war anymore. that can be said for every generation of marine. as time as passed technology/technique have allowed us to lose less people every war.

If you want to go military and you can get in the airforce that is the smart thing to do. Navy is a good second bet if you score high.

Monster I agree it is a lot more laid back than it was but I can tell you right now they still do shit at Paris Island that could fall into the torture category.

Fuck off with that shit. My best friend/mentor/big brother growing up was killed by an IED in Iraq after volunteering for his 3rd tour. I respect what they do but that doesn't mean I have to respect the shitty system that cranks them out.

The only real marines are Paris Island marines FYI. The west coast variety get picked on over here.

I ship to the MCRD in San Diego in Feb.

Your ASVAB scores don't even have to be that high. Right now, NG is the hardest to get into with a minimum total score of 50.

It's your line scores that mean something. They determine what jobs are available for you.

is that what the recruiter told u? i had to have color vision and a 70 in electronics to get in my careeer field and my career is one of the easier to get into. the government is not gonna let some joe blow off the street mess with their million dollar equipment. the ng is different then the ang or active duty air force.

Because He's seen FMJ ofc lmfao

Dude the only bad thing about Paris Island is the bugs.

MCRD in San Diego is just as hard, and the Crucible is harder because of the Reaper. I don't think SC has the Reaper.

it's a 700 foot mountain that you can stand up on and touch it by putting your arm straight out. it's fuckin steep as hell.
