Speedo is off about 10-15% btw, unless you measured it with GPS. But still thats fast, hopefully you were in a track and not on public roads.

this is false. if its anything over 10% they should get it looked at.
it can be upto 10% but anymore it would be technically "illegal" because just say youre going "70" in a 65 zone well according to you itll say only 70 but to cops it can be 77 or even close to 80 where itll be quite a number of points on your license.

I have a speedohealer for my bike so mileage and speed readout are accurate :).

And I do race with NESBA occasionally, and I do a track day every other month or so, but this was on a public road. About 1:30AM with maybe another car or two on the 4 lane highway. It wasn't too terribly dangerous, the only reason doing that on a public road at that time is the risk of getting a ticket. On my daily commute and when I"m just cruising around, however, I don't ride that way. I never ride in a way that could put other riders/drivers at risk. Putting my ass on the line is one thing, but putting other people's lifes on the line is fucked up.

cops are generally pretty lenient. if i'm hauling ass i put my 4-ways on lol

i've never gotten a speeding ticket which surprises me. if it's pretty chilly out i'm almost always speeding or getting up to speed rather quickly. cruising 100+ on 55mph back roads at night is always an adrenaline rush hehe

i don't know the point in this post but i've already typed it so i'm going to post it.

You guys are somewhat mistaken with the biek thing. The faster you are going, the higher % the speedo will be off (factory speedo, no speedohealer). If you're going 10-45, you're going whatever the readout says unless your bike is a POS. But it's when you get to highway speeds where you're gonna be off a bit. At 60 MPH you're prolly off by about 5% but it's when you break 100 when it starts being 10-15MPH higher than you're actually going.
