Initial touch up, with a brush. I'll follow up and blend/beautify it later.

Perspective.

I think that means tomorrow I start mocking the revised wiring harness. I can't wait!

More to come, as it happens.

Thanks for reading.

What kind of power are you looking to achieve from this setup and are you planning on tracking this car?

The motor and supporting modifications can support 400hp. I'm tuning the car for around 275 to the wheels (300ish torque)

And yes, that is the end game. This will be my race car. At risk of sounding cliche, this will also be my daily driver in the summer months.

The car will (hopefully) weigh 2200-2300lbs with myself in it, and full of fluids.

Thumbs up to the man who actually drives his car. After all, that is the reward for owning a nice automobile, I find it funny how people buy a nice car or build a nice car like you, then never drive it for fear of putting miles on it or whatever, so then the thing sits around and literally tortures them, they think "Man I'd love to drive my car but I don't want to add miles to it" or "I wouldn't want any gravel to chip the paint". I'd love to see some track videos someday.

Thank you for the kind words, I really do appreciate them.

Ironically, it would appear that this car is nothing but a garage queen, as evidenced by this, now 2+ year old thread. But yes, I assure you, I am going to drive the ever loving piss out of this car.

The first time I had it on the road, Halloween 2009, I drove the car for 11 hours straight. I put over 750 miles on it that first day.

I've just taken this time, as of late, to really finalize all of the various things I've always wanted for the car. (Standalone, turbo, coilovers, limited slip, big brakes...etc...)

I'm still about $4,000 away from driving it. But man, when it does hit the road.... It'll be there for a long long time.

Thanks again.

Started with the harness today.

Taking my sweet time.

Super messy, currently. That'll change. I just want to know things work, first.

Slowly but surely. More tomorrow, as I have reached my breaking point for the night.

Lots to do yet...

I had to tackle the whole oil cooler thermostat challenge recently too! I'll show you in a couple of days :)

Good work though buddy!
