Honestly, you really have no idea what you're talking about for this.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=78take a look around if you before you start laughing at his post. The cheapest mainstream turbo setup will cost around $5000 for barebone kits. Yes, it's expensive.
People are going over 400whp, but most seem to be putting the brakes on around 330. going close and over 400 means building the engine.
The power/weight/liters in this car is already good.
250whp with a 2800lb car is
plenty.
Useless, no, just less efficient.
Subjective. 250whp is better than 150whp but it's still pretty slow with proper tires fitted. I think 325-350whp would be a good range for it at that weight. That would be pretty similar power/weight as a full bolt on C5Z.

Welcome to the Internet.gif
I live in new England, they took a map of the north east, put a piece of glass over it, smashed it with a hammer a few dozen times and decided to build roads according to the cracks in the glass.
Lots of people from the Midwest and beyond live where the roads are as straight as rulers, and there's no use for a car that excels at cornering.
They simply can't see the value of cars like miatas, rx-7's, s2000's, BRZ's and the like.
For example, there are no dragstrips in my state. But there are autocross events, and a racetrack (limerock)
Fast cars are fun if you can drive them fast.
There's just no where to do it here.
I'll stick with the BRZ, and pick up a motorcycle if I feel the need for speed.
I've never understood why it's ok to bash stop light to stop light racers and fast straight line street cars and condone doubling posted speed limits around curves you can't see the other side of in the same breath. I'm comfortable doing 180mph on the interstate and i"ll drive aggressively through switchbacks but i don't go around boy racer style like my city is a grand prix track. That seems to be asking for trouble.
