bold: there is this saying about a pot and kettle
italic: god forbid someone form opinions and he clearly stated he's drove every model of the car. you then called him a liar because you can't handle criticism.
underline: you've been doing nothing but personal attacks for like the last dozen post. you are the one throwing out rage essays bro lol
blue: i believe i mentioned a pot and a kettle 3 lines up.
red: it's called respect. it has nothing to do with blindly agreeing with people...we just respect opinions and knowledgeable conversation over fanboy nonsense.

I didn't start this, the OP liked my suggestion and specified one of my many suggestions, which I elaborated and said it was a fun car. You idiots decided it was the perfect opportunity to stroke your epeen and try to attack me for a thread that hasn't been touched in over a month. Which you two failed miserably at. Not deterred, I had an idiot try to tell me the car wasn't fun to drive by taking a few select words and addressing that. When countered by saying that has nothing to do with whether its' fun to drive again, village idiot decided to make this about something entirely, it's weight's. Finally he decides to say he's driven the car, after failing to attack me twice (once showing his lack of reading comprehension for a thread made months ago, the second for showing his lack of reading comprehension in this thread). If he had driven it, and was actually meaning to give an argument against my argument its a fun car, he would have said that the first time. And he wouldn't have told me he's driven all three engine of the car when there's only two (1.8T and 3.2V6). Sorry bud, if you're going to lie you should at least check your facts first.

People who act like pricks deserve personal attacks. From the select group of assholes who like to reply to me here, I haven't got any knowledgeable conversation. I've got ignorance, people either wilfully ignoring what I have to say because they can't argue against it, or failing miserably at reading comprehension and completely misconstruing what I'm saying. Like you did earlier in the thread when you decided to attack me for apparently saying never buy knockoff parts when I had clearly said I do that for older cars in that last thread. So either you guys are miserable pricks who feel the desire to attack people who don't kiss your ass and beg for advice (the whining from FMX in the last thread about him never going to give me mechanical advice was priceless) or you're fucking idiots who can't read or think. What's it going to be?

Also, people need to stop using "fanboy". You like using a certain metaphor about kitchen tools, perhaps you should apply it to yourself.

Is this post going to be addressed properly? Absolutely not. It'll be treated just as every post that doesn't kiss ass or confirm to the biased beliefs of the people who feel the need to follow my posts and launch strawmans. Stop deluding yourself into thinking you have any high ground, everything you accuse me of you were guilty of before I ever started flaming and trolling.

What a shock. Maybe you should look in the mirror and realize you started this by being a fucking idiot and proving your reading skills are the equivalent of a child.

So many assumptions... so little time. Do you honestly think I only read/post in this tiny subforum of a Diablo II trading site? I'm not pretending to be anything. I will tell you an Audi TT is slow and fat in this forum

and on LS1Tech

and Corvetteforum

and SVTP

and NASIOC (lol)

and CumminsForum

and Yellowbullet

and Bobistheoilguy

and every other tech forum I frequent.

I hang out here because I've known several people in this subforum for years and I get to dose out servings of reality to gamer kids that would otherwise make bad automotive decisions. Btw, your automotive knowledge seems to end on the last page of an Audi propaganda publication (NN nazi hate).

You get to spew the bullshit you need to feel better about your sorry miserable life in front of people who aren't numerous enough to call you out for the uneducated, ignorant prick of a human being you are. Whine a little more that I'm not kissing your ass and begging for your neckbeard expertise. Come on, whine to me a little more about how much you know. Mommy didn't give you validation as a child so you beg for it ion the internet. How cute. You're such an adorable little retard aren't you.

I find myself reading faster and faster as I go through your posts. Not from excitement, but from lack of interest.

Oh, and there are 3 engine options. For all of my proclaimed ignorance and your fanboism I know seem to know more about he car in question than you. There are 2 versions of the 1.8T available in the first gen. One makes 178hp, and the other makes around 220hp I believe. Bigger turbo, more boost, some piping differences yadda yadda most of it is in the tune.

So much hate. For someone preaching about other people's issues (that you've made up to make yourself feel better) you sure seem to have a lot of hatred, anger, and insecurity. Maybe the people in the christian forum could help you out with that. It's rather pathetic to watch you make up bullshit on this level about a person you know nothing about just to make yourself feel better about being wrong.

Another easy point to make since I don't want to carry on for ages:

I never seek validation in my posts. I say what I say and explain why I said it. Right, wrong, or otherwise you will never see me looking for validation from someone else. Anything that comes close is usually in jest. That comes as a side effect of knowing what the fuck I'm talking about.

They're the same basic engine that VAG was using on almost everything in the late 1990s and 2000s. It was designed to be configured and tuned. There's two engines on the mark I TT, the 1.8T and the later V6. . A few things different don't make it a different engine, they make it an engine that can either come not tuned or tuned. If you configure the turbo on a car you buy, it's not a different engine. They're fundamentally the same engine. Oh, and you still keep taking all my posts very personal and continue your desire to have me be in awe of you due to your desperate need for validation. The whining at the start of the thread when you failed your reading comprehension test was just a continuation of the obsession you have with me due to my unwillingness to kiss your ass and give you what you go on the internet for.

E: I see more desperate pleas for validation. Caught in your psychological predicament you need to deflect because of your deep down issues, likely resulting from an inability to impress and please in your real life. That's why you come into small internet subforums and whine about things that you were wrong about more than a month ago. I think someone needs to have a talk with their mommy to settle some deeply ingrained childhood trauma.

Someone who either purposively or accidently misconstrues someone's argument (repeatedly) deserves nothing more.

So the factory option with 25% more power would have nothing to do with how fun/not fun the car drives? Stating I had driven both versions of the 1.8t TT Quattro shows how I formed a well rounded opinion. You were the one talking about this pea shooter "sneaking up on you." I've driven both turbo versions. They definitely sneak but in the same way a mini van or a Saturn Relay sneaks.

E: Enough of your psychiatrist impersonation. You were wrong about the reasoning you posted (numbers) backing up an opinion. Get over it. No amount of personal insults will make an Audi TT any lighter or more nimble. Fact. I'm going to bed.

It's like any car with a sport model that comes with a tuned engine, it has more power. OK, if power is what you want, it has more power, but power isn't the only factor in what makes a car fun or not. An expect 40 horse gives it an obvious jump, but the TT isn't fun because of that. It's fun because of the way it drives. No, stating you've driven all three models makes me think you haven't driven it. How would anyone, who hasn't owned the car, remember that a car they clearly didn't like had a sport option for the base model that raises the horsepower by 40? No one remembers that, you looked it up after I told you you've never driven one, saw in a table three different horsepower numbers and said you've driven the three different engines. There's actual VAG fanboys on Vortex that wouldn't have been able to tell me that. But someone who clearly hates German cars can tell me that? If it looks like a duck.

It does sneak up on you. Do you know what that means? Entry level sports cars like the TT usually don't have that much power. They're not meant to outrace a car more than $20,000 more expensive. They zip around the road, which the TT does, they feel faster than they are, because they're tiny, and they're meant to be fun to drive. The Mark I TT won a lot of awards, runner up to North American Car of the Year, on the Car and Driver top 10 list numerous times, one of the cars' that sent Audi from being no where close to BMW and Mercedes to making the Big 2 a Big 3. Mark I TT's move very quickly in used car inventories. They're a cheap (both in price and to fix) option for someone wanting a summer car. That's what it is. I haven't made it to be anymore than that, and it's the exact kind of car the OP was looking for. That's why I posted it. But because people would rather be assholes then actually accept that it's a good suggestion for what the OP wants even if you don't like the car, and I really don't give a fuck if you don't like the car, there's a ton of people who would hate Corvette's. Go have fun with them. My opinion isn't wrong because you don't like Audi's. This thread didn't have to turn into 4 pages of me trolling and flaming, but that's what you get when people decide to be pricks and bring up something from more than a month ago. Not my problem. And if you decide to be an asshole and act like a fucking idiot to this post too, I'll do it again. I don't really care, I enjoy flaming people and getting things heated up. I won't follow your posts around because I really don't give a fuck, but respond to my posts like an asshole, and I'll play the part of an angry asshole right back. I really don't care.

all those words and not a single:

I was wrong its not a light car by any means and i need to turn my fanboy dial down because im making myself look like an idiot.

I was wrong there are only 2 versions of the car.

I was wrong that its anymore fun than any other econobox

I like the way it looks but i'm too insecure to say i like a girls car so i reach for any other excuse i can to say i like it.
