It's not that deep IMO.no one is on Dungeys level with consistency. they aren't performing well. I was expecting a lot more from millsaps being the last 2 years he finished 2nd in points. He's barely getting top 5s. Barcia/reed/tomac/Anderson are the only ones worth mentioning IMO other then roczen and dungey and none of them has what it takes to be ontop. So really the field isn't as stacked as people think. You got all those fast riders and you have dungey who is just on another level

I figured it would be down to dungey or roczen but roczen is out of it really unless dungey get hurts.

Most impressive is canard.

the field is pretty stacked its got the next wave of younger riders just becasue its not the guys your used to seeing in the 450 doesnt mean there not good
i always felt that was a lucky year for millsaps i never considered him to be a top rider tbh
canard should be doing that good though guys a good rider

who else is missing for it to be stacked? bubba? he would eat shit and dungey would beat him easily
villepoto? guy can ride but i dont think he would have what it takes to beat dungey but with how hes doing in europe maybe we will see next season ^^

It's been 1 race for villopoto..it means nothing. He's racing in a whole different style track. He didn't do that bad. He came from dead last and fell down and finished top 10. Look at the qualifying race, he got the holeshot and checked out, won by 10 seconds. Race 1 just finished a little bit ago today and ryan got first. Race 2 coming later today.

And never said they weren't fast riders. I said in my post they are fast they just aren't on Dungeys level overall. You can say lucky year for millsaps, but he still got 2nd in points with villopoto and dungey there.
Stewart yes falls a lot but still, he is usually the fastest dude out there when he's upright. He can steal wins a lot.

All the guys great riders it's just amazing the difference of pace Stewart villopoto dungey puts down. Look how much they beat the competition by for races they usually win.

Dungey IMO is clear winner this year, has been from the start. Poto really only reason he wasn't winning. Roczen has the speed but he isn't consistent and now his season is screwed.

dungey imo hasnt been a clear winner until hes won the past like 3 or 4 races giving nobody a chance to make up points on him
i figured daytona he hasnt done good in the past would even things up but apparently not
even if poto and stewert were there i think dungey> hes got it goin on this year poto would prob be a bit closer in 2nd though

Nah IMO dungey been clear winner from the start assuming he stayed healthy. He's too consistent. Always finishes top 5 and better, usually top 3, been that way for years, he just didn't have that extra push to beat Poto and his issue with not passing quick enough. I never saw anyone to be a challenge for him besides roczen. Reeds old and losing speed, I figured he would throw down a few reasons but overall no. Barcia is great but still doesn't have the speed to be running upfront and he makes to many mistakes. Rookie year for Anderson on big bikes, didn't expect much. Tomac too inconsistent, always has some great speed but he's hot and cold. Only one I expected to challenge dungey was roczen. Like I said many great riders, it's just this year they aren't on Dungeys level, the guy never has a bad ride or makes mistakes really, not just this year but all past years. You get a guy like tomac who wins and then finishes outside top 10 a multiple times l.

i figured canard and roczen would with anderson and tomac close behind and maybe even reed in the mix
tomac had a pretty decent start he was the 1st t owin 2 heats iirc ect ect he just cant get it done in the main
i mean even to watch the races there wasnt much domination until the past few the racing was pretty tight but once dungey got the lead he just got super confident or something n cant be stopped lol

dungeys been getting good starts though i think if the other guys had equally good starts it would seem a lot more even

Yeah not much domination but when you have a guy who is 90% of the time on the podium it's hard to top that with a long season. That's the best thing about dungey. It's really hard to beat someone like that. Even if he doesn't win, he's always placing great and has smooth rides when everyone else throws it away. Like I said you got a guy like tomac who comes and wins a race, gets on podium the next, and than next few races places out top 10, or 5-10 while dungey is that guy always getting podiums. It's been like this for years now, just not this season.

Dungey and musquinn go 1-1 again..
Bogle has to be frustrated, he is nowhere near musquinns pace. Shame about Martin not making the main and 3rd in points, really hurt him
