I've tossed around the idea of picking up an older tdi jetta to DD.  I love my diesel truck but i've never worked on a VW diesel.  If they are a pain in the ass to work on i'm better off leaving it alone.

If you're a master electrician / rocket scientist they arn't to bad...

They had horrible electrical gremlins.

haha sure man post em!

I gave platsti-dip a try and for a temporary option it is very impressive.

Did my wheels 2 months ago and they still have the nice finish they had after I just finished em.

I had plastidip on my wheels since late winter this year till I recently redid them in gunmetal paint. The dip held up great till the day I went to unmount the tires, the machines arm tore the edges up bad.

Yea im scared about that...I need to get my winters mounted in like 2 months...still have these 17 inches tires from when I purchased the car...otherwise id have 16 '' steelies as winter setup.

Ill talk to the guys and ask them to be gentle...if anything happens ill just leave it be for winter and redo em next spring lol..

still have 4 cans in the garage.

I feel you guys!
I need to go back and do an additional coat on mine just to touch them up before winter but i'm holding off until i replace the rear tires here shortly

its so easy to redo though, if you start getting it where its not peeling right and is a pain in the ass. Spray 1 additional thick coat on there first, wait 30 mins, then it peels extremely easy in one large piece since its new.

Going outside now to take a pic of mine since dont have any pics of it on this phone
