Have any of you sat in a sprint car? There is no visibility out the right side to speak of. The kid ran down like he was going to slap the car as he went by. That's not physically possible without getting rolled up in the right rear tire and that's what hit him. He never should have charged down the track and put himself in that position. When tony hit the gas he probably couldn't see the kid and assumed he had backed out of the way of the car doing 70mph on a cooldown lap.

Dale Jr said it best. People die all of the time at local dirt tracks and you never hear about it. Tony Stewart's name makes it national news.

how can you avoid someone who is aiming for you and you don't know it?

the guy ran purposefully in front of a moving car....it wasn't an accident, it was on purpose and it was the fault of the idiot running in front of a moving car.

as a rational human being you aren't supposed to take the side of the person who is blinded by rage.

Idiots gonna idiot bro, dont bother responding, I had to force myself to stop responding to plague because I felt my IQ points lowering with each response.

Yes, and hot lapped, but I know that wasn't directed at me

Jumping to calling people idiots because they are wrong or disagree with you, really makes you just as unintelligent imo

Well let me pretend to be a lawyer here. Whether or not Tony Stewart killed him on purpose is irrelevant to being charged with manslaughter. The deciding factor is if his actions contributed the kid's death. Obviously the kid being a retard running at the car was the reason he died, but I'd say the most important detail is deciding whether or not Stewart hitting the gas made the difference. If he hadn't hit the gas like that, would the kid still have been hit and killed? If he would have still run into the back tire anyway then it's not Tony Stewart's problem at all. But if hitting the gas closed the gap and caused the kid to get hit then Stewart's actions are responsible for the kid dying. On purpose or a complete accident, it would still be a contributing factor to his death. No matter what happens on the criminal side I bet Stewart ends up paying at least a few million to the kid's family.

"I think you're going to see an indictment of 2nd degree manslaughter at a minimum." - Legal Analyst Rob Becker on Tony Stewart. ‪#‎FOXSportsLive‬

You still don't know how sprit cars work or anything about the situation except a kid got hit by a car.
