Theres not much profit to make in 280s, they aren't in high demand like 240s.

I just want to drive this thing around. It will make the times that my 240 is not running a lot more bearable having a drivable car when the other is being modified/restored. So that's part of the plan.

And I don't plan on selling it, if anything I'll give it to my brother, or have people drive it when we go places, like shows or just cruising. (Once my 240 is finished)

and luckily the 90% of the frame rails are actually nice. I'm home for the weekend, and I may attack the floor/rocker panel areas to some extent.

I plan on making essentially THIS car, with a 3" exhaust for around 1500 bucks total (including the 650 purchase price)

Dark blue exterior, with dark gray accents, like the hood vents, the front airdam, and the door vents. All other emblems shaved. Very subtle contrast. No tinted tails though, that's dumb.

Pshaw....This work is nothing to be jealous of, that's for sure. I'm just a guy fooling around in his garage, with pretty limited resources. :)

I just pulled the passenger seat, and started stripping the carpet. The door jam, rocker panel, and passenger floor are tonight's projects. At initial inspection the floors are still solid as suspected, only rust is on the perimeter of the floor pans.

We'll see how far I get.

I prepped tonight so that tomorrow I can just tear into the passenger floor area, and the rocker panel.

Aside from the edge, the rest of the floor is surprisingly solid. Nevertheless......More patching.....

Tomorrow I start making it whole again.

For what it is, its pretty impressive lol. I hate body work with a passion. A friend of a friend lost his mind trying to finish a 240z that he ended up giving up on.

Damn that floor. Stupid snow and salty roads. If u don't put the cost of your time you'll Def get it under 1500.

Doing any engine work? Or just cosmetic primary. Great work bud keep it up. I can't wait till I have a house shop to tinker.
