doesnt matter if m3 uses it. its called a manual transmission but does not use a clutch pedal. but im sure this one doesnt count because (insert reason here)
since you still don't know the difference between a manual transmission and an automatic transmission... i'll just post what it is for you.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manual_transmission It uses a driver-operated clutch engaged and disengaged by a foot pedal (automobile) or hand lever (motorcycle), for regulating torque transfer from the engine to the transmission;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatic_transmissionAn automatic is one type of motor vehicle transmission that can automatically change gear ratios as the vehicle moves, freeing the driver from having to shift gears manually.
So tell me the story one more time about how the M3 is a manual? Is it because it uses a driver operated clutch, engaged and disengaged by a foot pedal... or does it shift the gears automaticly, freeing the driver from having to engage the clutch manually?
I can't believe i have to explain to a grown man what the difference is between an automatic car and a manual.
Don't you drive a truck for a living, how can you not identify the most basic aspects of a motor vehicle.
