Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been very busy these last couple weeks.
Here's what I've been up to....
Spent two weeks in New Orleans for a sailing symposium.... Just got back last Friday. What a cool city!
Then, almost immediately, I did a rescue flight for Pilots and Paws taking a Golden Retriever on the first of 6 flights taking the dog from Canada to Florida. (the dog was abused, and can no longer tolerate cold weather due to frostbite)
I was Co Pilot/dog control/Grizzly Adams. I'll definitely do it again. Was a very rewarding experience. Have a wonderful life in Florida, Sasha!

And ugh........Snow.......Lots of snow... Pictures do it zero justice, but I snapped this random shot today while shoveling my way out this morning.
The fence in the following picture is 6 feet tall. And the bar/tubing that is exposed, that's actually the top brace to a 4' high quarter pipe, for skateboarding.
On average we have around 3 feet everywhere. Drifts though....could triple that height. My driveway is now two feet higher than it was at the beginning of the season. Throws the perspective off in that picture a little bit.
Just assume it's an 8' tall person taking the picture.
When driving to the store it almost feels like you're in a tunnel, because the banks on the side of the road easily clear the roof of the vehicle.

I'm very tired of shoveling..And don't get me started on the cold. We keep getting blasted with lake effect, because the temperature differential, as of late, has been so great.
Snowing and 5 degrees....has suddenly lost its charm.
End Tangent.
