yup. and the parts list (imo) doesnt warrant it. there's some awesome parts there, but then there's stuff where he only went with the OK route. kinda silly. mainly the suspension stuff. Megan and T3....

a lot of corolla guys buy the t3 stuff, but its mediocre. better can be done. i guess what i'm saying is that for $20k, a corolla should have better suspension that what i can pick up for 1500 new.

True, but the car is still extremely well done. The thing I find weirdest is why he didn't mold the widebody. Hes already gone to the trouble of bringing the chassis down to the metal and stitch welding it, you figure he could atleast do a clean install lol.

it was cool to have it done that way a few years ago. also if something happens with the overs, its less of a mess to deal with. bonded parts can be annoying to deal with. if you need to take the overs off to do any more work at any point, you're kinda SOL if they're molded. buddies doing his s14 right now and they're doing the same thing.

This ae86 wasn't tracked regularly or anything though, it was basically a show car. The chances of anything happening would be slim. It makes much more sense with your buddies car assuming hes going to be drifting it.

only mild drifting.

but assume the overs have to come off for anything at some point. if they're molded, you're boned. car needs to be re-done paint wise.

if its just rivets, drill em out, take off panels, do work, re-rivet.
