And your telling me your parents didn't get you those internships :P

Don't act like you've just worked your ass off, you've had more than abit of help getting where you shouldn't be.

I could care less if he has what I don't, I just don't like when people don't seem to understand the opportunitys they've been given. Try harder next time.

lol actually the internships were from family connections but the majority of the money was from winning tournaments from halo 2 and 3. over my semi-professional career i made about 20-30 grand in which i just saved, invested and just cashed out when i figured out what i wanted.

If it didnt bother you, you clearly wouldnt be saying this trying to sway my opinion, you would have just said "k" and ignored me. I despise people that "land on their feet" too, as i work for everything i have got. No need to discriminate is it though?

Now lets go into detail so i can "get off your dick."

sicksynergy earnt the majority of his money in gaming. Which he invested, and cashed out when he felt the need too. However you seem to think that he was given money from his parents in the form of overpaid labour. You also said its not your money if your parents give it too you. Although it was through family connections that he got the interns, the fact still remains that the majority of his money was earnt on Halo 2 + 3. Hell i could say hes a fat lonely kid that plays halo all day, but i dont, because unlike some people, i like to know the facts before opening my mouth. I suggest you do the same in the future.

lol, I'm going to discriminate if they don't realize what they have. He didn't earn all of what hes been buying in gaming, I'm sure it more then helped, but those internships he got from his family were the main thing. I knew the facts before I talked, this kids talked about it before and hes never really seemed to understand that most people can't get into a job like that at 18.

And I'm not just going to say k when a total fucking idiot is trying to talk back to me. I don't put up with shit here.

lol yeah not many people can but i know what i have and took advantage of it to the best of my capabilities. too many people don't know how many opportunities are right in front of their face so hence they are naieve and eventually end up with nothing. if anything, i do know what i came across, i put my foot in the door and its gotten me to the place where i am today. although i have not taken every single chance i could get, some of which i wish i had made a different decision, but for the most part it turned out for the better.

i mean, if you were a 16 year old in high school, not many people think of their long term future and what they need to do in life to succeed. most teenagers in high school just want to have fun and have not a single care for what's ahead of them, not saying theres anything wrong with it but just stating the general population. my idea of fun in high school was being that kid who was a nerd during the week, but when the weekend hits i could easily go to a party with a date and have the time of my life.

i mean truthfully, im sure everyone here went their own way in life but its what they want to make of it. a decent amount of the people who made a living for themselves started from the bottom up. ask chaosoul, he is one who can vouch that he made everything that he has on his own with little help from his family. he knew how to go about life and how to create a business so he did it.

I still don't think you realize that most people would never have any of the opportunitys that have presented themselves to you. Your acting like they're just being lazy when in reality its just not possible.

I'd elaborate but I have to go to class
