Can you please mention this GM car you’re referring to? solstice/sky?

Stop being so hung up on tires. If you don’t like them, take them off and sell them. They are a repacemabke item, you’ll replace them eventually anyways. Common sense and not difficult.

I hate to say it, and you know it’s true, and while I’m not at all, in any means shape or form, bashing a manual transmission, you know that MT is on its way out (of course it will take a long time). Higher priced cars already are faster with AT. But we both know there’s more control with the MT.

Yeah it was the solstice/sky.

I'm not hung up on the tires. You don't seem to know anything about performance driving so you can't grasp what I'm saying.

If/when you replace the tires with something sticky you will not be able to generate any wheelspin or slip angle. You lose that fun to drive factor.

If it had enough power to induce the same driving experience WITH good tires it would be a legitimate performance car and still be fun to drive. I can't explain it any better than that.

As for the M/T A/T argument the new autos are good and DCT is good. In a woefully underpowered car the manual is what makes it fun to drive. My 24hrs of LeMons car would be boring as fuck if it were auto. It would be like driving in traffic on the interstate.

This is true and op I dont think is understanding the tire thing and why brz is lame in current state.

Its like removing the seatbelts on a childs rollercoaster, its slow as fuck, but to make it fun they intentionally made it less safe to give it that fun feeling in that niche category, and save money.

I know what you’re saying with tires....

Buy the tires you want to fit your desires.....

Build your car to fit your desires.....

Want more power? Add FI

It’s not that hard.

There are way more disappointing cars on the road than a brz. Period.

Difference is, those owners of those more "disappointing cars" don't try to claim it's more than it is. They don't claim it to be a performance car for enthusiasts. They don't deny that their cars are slow and non-performance based in the slightest.

Because I am completely happy with my car and the way it is. I can’t deny something that is not true. The car has more than enough power for what I need it for.

It’s people who don’t own them who complain.

This conversation isn’t going anywhere.

200hp less than 2800 lbs, small coupe. I’m happy

I have witnessed plenty of people who trade in their faster cars for a brz.

I've seen men chop their dicks off and wear dresses.

I'm glad you are happy and yes, it is the people who don't own one that complain because the car isn't what they want so they didn't buy it.

I'm just saying it's funny to watch you continue to deny that it is a slow, non-performance based car after all of this. No one is saying you're wrong for being happy with your car. We're saying you're wrong for claiming it's not slow and performance based.

Also do you know their reasoning behind trading in faster cars for a brz? Cuz if not, then that is really a moot point.... I'm sure all kinds of people trade in performance cars for non-performance cars for a multitude of reasons... finances, practicality, maintenance costs, etc.

It is performance based. Go cry about hp numbers again.

I visit the forums daily. I think I know more about their reasonings about buying the car than you do.

If you want to spend your time researching about t, go ahead, until then, I know more because I read more.i can’t wven begin to describe how many people have gone wrx to brz and vice versa
