Do you have Downs syndrome?
I would feel terrible if I was making fun of someone with a legitimate mental issue.

CuttingEdge, appreciate the info, do you know anything about the durability of subaru CVTs or possible repair costs?

if you get 2012+ you should be able to get CPO on any vehicle under 50k miles til atleast 75k

also if you are doing first time financing most financing companies will force the dealership to give you a warranty or they won't approve you

I am looking to get at least a 2010, 2012/13 is in my price range. Probably not anything newer but not sure. Budget for used is anything under $15k. Ive seen subarus up to 2012/13 under $15k

Nope, no good information on either one. My buddy's car still has less than 10k on the clock

You drive a notoriously bad CVT, and you're trying to say all CVTs are like that.

I've driven a 6 speed WRX and a CVT WRX side by side.
Have you?

While I preferred the manual, I would have taken the CVT over a standard auto anyday.

The damn thing could imitate an 8 speed automatic trans, and while on that setting, it legitimately felt like a standard auto.
But in whatever it's highest trans setting was called, the thing would just gun to redline and moooove. It was faster 20-80mph than the 5 speed was, by a good margin. But off the line was just an absolute dog.

But yeah man, you know everything about CVTs with your little ecobox lancer

forgot to ask, what model year was that WRX you drove?

It was a 2015 manual vs a 2016 CVT

I've driven many many WRXs. My preferred is bugeye.

I'm the type of guy to throw stupid money at an old car instead of buying a brand new one. lol
