The headers were XSpower. And yeah I know but I'm cheap haha, there's no power difference either.

Aren't those the chinese knock offs of the chinese made tsp headers? If they fit at all you did well lol.

How do you like the LT's + stingers btw?

Pretty sure XSpower is US made. They are essentially ARH copies I believe.

I haven't had a chance to put on the combo yet haha. My buddy owes me a favor so I'm dropping the car off at his house tomorrow night and hes going to install them for me while I'm out of town for the weekend. I'll take a video when I'm back.

It takes me 3-4 hours to clean and install the top end. It really ian't bad. The ls6 would make great platform for your swap.


They are bad ARH copies made in china and sold as assembled in usa to get by the legal stuff. 1 7/8" headers are a tight fit regardless of brand but i can vouch for both arh and kooks first hand. They are a cut above the rest. LG is nice too but overpriced imo.

My daily beater, 99 tdi newbeetle with 370,000+ miles.

Performance upgrades - garrett gt-17 turbo, miltek 2.5 down pipe, kerma OMI hard piping, BFI stage 2 mounts, boost controller running 22 psi, egr delete, hybrid steel bottom oil pan, minor tune (injectors and malone tune coming soon), vr6 single mass clutch upgrade, euro 02J EXA freeway flyer trans, FK ultralow coilovers, upgraded sway bars and adjustable endlinks, urethane bushings.

Cosmetics - project 2 lip kit, Beetle RSI spoiler, Audi TT holland series wheels, smoked lenses/markers/fog lights/taillights, stubby antenna, 5/10mm wheel spacers, super bowl 41 mini keg filter shield, rsi triple gauge cluster, custom plaid wrapped headliner and door card inserts, infinity primus components (Rest of the system incoming), class one tow hitch lol.









I also have a 92 montana green GTI, I'm in the process of bringing back to the show scene after its years of neglect. Will post that up later when I get home :)

Haha ikr? I'm shooting for 500k asap.
And I'd say roughly about 110hp, 180tq. Which is a decent upgrade in these highly detuned alh diesels. Once I get my new injectors and tune I should be making around 170hp with just under 300tq. But I need money lol, and my injector pump is pretty worn and weak.

Also last time I ran it I pulled 16s, was good enough for me considering the miles and these cars ran high 18s from the factory :)

I've tossed around the idea of picking up an older tdi jetta to DD. I love my diesel truck but i've never worked on a VW diesel. If they are a pain in the ass to work on i'm better off leaving it alone.
