thats why the dodge viper has the 6th fastest nurburgring lap time and the aventador is 19th right?

that "shitty ass dodge" is also 1/4 the price of an aventador.

thats just a production viper acr that got that time, not even the viper gt car

it also doesnt have any of the creature comforts of most of these other cars. no radio, no a/c, no carpets, etc. its a pure track car vs street cars.

when you have a car like the viper, ac, radio, and creature comforts are negligible because the raw sound of the car and wind coming through from going fast is all you need.

Like ive said many times before, there are different types of people that buy vipers vs people that buy cars like corvettes. The viper owners want power, and speed, and performance and thats it.. the vette owners just want people to know that they own a vette; ie- status symbol. Hence why it has all those creature comforts because 99.999% of the corvettes will rarely even see over 60mph cuz they are putt putt'd around town.

The demeanor of the typical viper owners compared to typical vette owners is drastic. Vette owners for the most part are like "hey look at me in my vette idling around town for hours to show off my car that will never see a single race or 60mph" vs viper owners for the most part are like "lets tear this road up!!!"

living near america nearly my whole life gives me the luxury of seeing almost every performance vehicle on the planet on a daily basis 7 months out of the year. One thing is true, and thats that you will find yourself passing more slowvettes on hwy67 off road america going 40-45mph in a 55 towards elkhart lake then anything else. Seriously, at the vintage races 2 weekends ago, a string of fucking mg migets passed a god damn z06 dicking around at 35-38mph on the north straight to elkhart lake..fucks sake. after they went and the oncoming car passed, i also passed his slow ass.

vs earlier today on my way into plymouth to get some motherfucking milk and a carton of god damned eggs, an electric blue 2010 dodge viper srt10 comes hauling ass out of p-town at id have to guess approximately 170-180mph.. he was fucking blazing

it shit i see on a daily basis. chevy owners are ALWAYS the ones holding up traffic..every god damn time

its fact lol. around here, if there is a vehicle holding up traffic, 99.999 % of the time its damn gm of some sort. 90% of them are trucks, and the other 10% of them are gm cars.. of the cars holding up traffic, 95% of them are vettes and impalas.. funny thing is is that i have yet to get stuck behind a cruze. they buzz along decently.. which is odd, cuz well, its a cruze.. you would think the people driving gms flagship car would learn how to use the accelerator a bit more like the people driving the cruze..ffs

thats exactly what i mean but the type of people that buy vettes. they dick around because the more people looking at them and the longer those people look at them give them a hardon.. its must be true because why else would you purposely drive slow as fuck through the main drag of town? attention whore status symbol drivers, thats why.

edit: i also noticed over the last how many years ive only ever got stuck behind maybe one or two chevy hhr's, they too, like cruze owners around here, in general have more balls with the accelerator pedal then vette owners.

its just something ive noticed around here since i was a kid riding around with my dad in his big dodge truck, and since i got my license 11 years ago.. its just one of those things. If traffic is slowed down, the first thing i think is "probably a fucking silverado or impala" and im right almost every time unless its race weekend, then its most probably a vette.

hell the car cruises i partake in from plymouth to kiel down hwy 57... every fucking time, when there is a giant ass gap in the string of cars on the highway,. its always some fucking corvette or camaro holding everyone up going likr 48-50mph.. i have very strong fits of rage wanting to pull my xd45acp out of my center console and shoot their tires out as i pass..( and yes i do have my concealed carry permit so it is legal for me to have my handgun loaded in my car and hidden from sight)

its so irritating when you deal with it on a daily basis. people in their gm's fucking off driving slow holding everyone up like nobody behind them has anywhere important to go.

that is my main source of animosity towards gm vehicles and their owners, not because they have mediocre performance like most of you may think is my reason, its because the people driving them are sloooooow aaasssss fuuuuuuccckkkk

His shit is so delusional i didn't read most of it. Just look at sales numbers, race wins, race records, and head to head reviews. It's clear which one is better. He has to be the only person in history to dispute that.

One of my friends owns a 97 GTS that i'e posted pictures of multiple times. He has had 5 different corvettes. His current C6 is his favorite car to drive. He daily drives it or his NSX. The viper is built with pickup truck parts and it shows.

"B-b-but.. Vettes are .. Slow"
"Vettes are status symbol"
"Dodge something something Nuremberg fastest"
"Most obese production cars to date"
"Viper cheaper than vette"

Pick one of the above

But dat push to start y0....

obviously dodge broke ground for every car company today with the viper... in one aspect. Push to start button.

You all know im a chyrsler fan... even i wouldnt buy a viper to go fast. I'd buy one just because they are a cool car. Not for a racecar. Same thing with the challenger.

If i wanted a race car, id buy another diesel pickup. Owait
