no no, its actually fell off. ahah

1 stud, a set of lugnuts and a wheel later ( bought 4 used oem alum ones for $100 with rubber.. :O ) its fixed. been fishing twice since the incident. and i gotta say, this truck just doesnt have my trust anymore. im constantly looking over my shoulder so to speak when driving it. not like my car, saturday morning i got a call from a friend in kapuskasing that was stranded, i got up and didnt think twice before taking my car on a 12 hour round trip.

and the frame is oily, i had my hands all up and around that, its been rust checked often by the looks of it, not really and flaky pieces. for now, i literlly have a C clamp holding the corner of my fender slip i patched in so it doesnt stick out 4 inchs. i really dont give a shit atm, and after yesterdays haul trying to find an entrance to a lake, i dont feel bad at all that shes already a little beat up. i got directions to a lake my father inlaw used to fish in 20 years ago. looks like no ones been there since..

I feel you on that man. Check the suspension over real good. It will take some time to get it right and then it will start gaining your trust again.

the shocks are all pretty new, much bigger diamater than what they used for stock.. father inlaw has stock ones to compare, all steering componets look real nice and were heavily greased. the safty shop said my idler arm had a little play in it, wasnt a huge concern where it needed fixing right now, but its probably the culprit to my shaking steering wheel.
over all, for a $2000 truck, i cant complain much. the transmission seems a bit sluggish, but it COULD also be tied to the abs light thats on, there could be a bit of mis-communication between sensors making her a little more rough then it should be. and the tach/speedo jump around a little bit, like bouncing +/- 5km/h or so. steadys out on even road, but dirt / rough road it moves.- i tried researching this, but everything i find it much more severe and eratic than what im experiencing.

oh and the bottom leaf spring is about 1/4 inch bigger then factory too. i was so happy to see that tbh. because i was looking into over load springs n shit or 3/4 ton springs, but this truck took that camper like a champ, barely moved with it on.

camper oficially has no leaks and EVERYTH|ING works, electiric and propane.
the boat motor was a bitch to get running, but once i did and open it up a few times it is 100% ( made a big lol derp move affter 2 days of fishing i coudlnt keep it running for longer then 1-2 minutes - but was only happening later in the evening after i been on the lake for hours. lol i didnt pull the tank vent... problem solved ) . boat has no leaks, just ugly color.

so yea, really happy with my purchase, going to get box clamps today, or maybe make my own belly bars we will see how that goes. then im out this weekend for canada day.

also mine and my womans 3 year anniversary today. so im off to go pay and write the card to have flowers brought to her work haah.

Google helper bags. You don't need an on board compressor.
