That doesn't make any sense. Maybe an 8 second important isn't usable... This car will be daily drivable. Overdrive and the whole 9. Derp. So what if i drove it twice a year? Mad because i have options?

Speaking of 8 second streetable, I've been toying with the idea of a Duramax in my Chevelle build.

Not at all, my point is that if you're only going to drive it 2 times a year, might as well go full out drag, then have some street tires if you ever want to street it.

Full out drag would be cutting the car up which i wont do. If you think it will go way faster on slicks you dont know anything about drag racing.

I just honestly dont see the point if you're going to drive it very few times out of the year. Imo I'd just spend the extra work and cash making it a full out drag car and make it faster than it would be.

Again, it wouldnt be that big of a difference. Then i really wouldn't use it unless i went to the track. I will be able to drive this thing to work everyday if i choose. What do you not get about this?
