CAI + Headers + tune from AM shouldnt be TOO bad. You can install the CAI yourself in like 5 minutes, the headers are a bit more work but I did my own (with help from my dad) in a day.
That will make it sound WAY better and yield some powa!



but i have headers already bro :P kooks headers and kooks off road xpipe, with a roush axle back, and im dyno tuned.

im just gonna add a cai, a roush chin splitter and idk what spoiler, maybe the gt500 one, or the gt/cs edition, the car looks better with one imo and re tune it with the ghost gam tune, which makes the car sound cammed, without spending like 4k for actual cams lol.

I dont know if I would bother with cams on a 5.0 either. It already sounds pretty sick with factory cams.

What gears do you have currently?
Other than gears and intake there isnt much you can do power wise without getting expensive.

LsX is so mod friendly it's insane. Huge LSX fanatic, except for the sound. Unfortunately I've never heard a great sounding Vette IMO.

no research is really needed, get a hand held tuner from american muscle, they will upload the tune onto it with the info you provide them about the mods you have currently done on your car, plug it into your car, upload it, BAM, ghost cam tune ready to rock :P

I've never had any of my cars dyno'd I want to get #s with my mods. We have a nice selection of performance shops down here

I like a very particular sound. BB gets close, but personally I think Vette's have an exotic sound. Im pro GM over Ford any day of the week on engines, but IMO, Ford has GM beat on exhaust note. Any 4.6 with duals and some flowmasters sounds so great.
