im seeing 30k and they apparently pay a little more than kbb, which ive been told by the dealership who has experience with this, more so than you id presume. but ill know by friday..

If they wont give you the money for mods, hoping you have the originals just put them back on yourself and sell the mods to other mustang owners, you'll make more money that way as 5k in mods is worth more like 2k when they do reimbursements...

My 06 Cobra was totaled in '11, got t-boned by a semi that ran a red light. I had over 9k in mods on the car and got a return of 3.5k reimbursement when it came down to it. Luckily i kept the originals and swapped them with approval of the mechanic since he knew the situation.

Turned around sued the semi driver, the company he drove for since i had legitimate injuries from it. Poor car didnt even have a passenger side after the hit. Worst whiplash ive ever had, had to get cortical steroid injections into my cervical discs.

Sopranos you are being overly optimistic about how the insurance company is going to treat you. The only way to get your mods back is to buy the car back from them. If they were not declared with your insurance company and you don't have receipts the car wash's insurance isn't going to want to reimburse you either. They are going to give you fair market value as determined by them. Why would they give you more? They are in business to make money, not give it away.

I have receipts for everything. If they dont reimburse me, I will swap them off and put stocks back on, and apply them if they are still good, to my new mustang.

the car wash is going to be in no position to play hardball about this situation because they know they have a big lawsuit coming their way for letting an unlicensed driver operate vehicles knowingly. By the time litigation is done with, theyll want to settle and avoid court at all costs.

i would start changing parts back to stock they wont give you the amount that you spent on them. one if my friends did a 3.4 whipple swap with a built motor they were only going to give him like 1200 bucks to cover it.

i have geico, sometime before friday ill know exactly whats goin on 100%. the claims adjuster has to give me a call first before he goes to check the car, which he should deem totaled. then after that, hell cut a check for whatever amount, which will be dumped right into a 2014 mustang. already talked tot he guy who sold me the 13 and said hell get me in the car as fast as possible.

im just prayin the headers are alright, those were the most expensive, but i dont see how they can really be damaged considering i was hit on my left mid/rear, we shall see.

Don't mention the mods to the adjuster. Most companies won't let you touch anything bolted to the car once they put a price on it unless you buy the car back from them as scrap. Even stereo stuff. Once he puts a price on it it's as it sits.

The insurance company is probably not going to give 2 fucks about the guy not having a license. They are liable for damages and whatever you weasel out of them for pain and suffering. The guy not having a license falls back on the owner which will probably be a separate lawsuit. The insurance company will probably drop his business anyway.
