I currently have a microscopic exhaust leak that only sounds off between 2k and 3k rpm...

Mine's a 99 Mustang, but just a thought.

Did you check for a broken engine mount? I noticed in your video that when you switch it from park to N to drive that the rattle changes.
Another possibility is if it has a drive belt the most likely the tensioner for it could be hydraulic as well. They rattle after time.
Also check your exhaust to see if any hangers are broken and see if its rattling.

To check for a broken engine mount have someone look under the hood while you power brake. (Hold the brake and E-brake while you give it gas) while alternating through drive gears.

Engine mounts are fine, that's one of the first things i checked, nothing banging and engine barley moves when changing drive gear and revs, you don't need to high rev shift to check engine mounts, fyi

Long awaited answer but,

If you look at the engine air intake, remove that near the rear (Toward the back of the engine/neat front seats) theres a plate (not sure if its a heat shield or not) but however that plate if not bolted down properly will rattle, and that rattle was the noise i was hearing.

Thanks everyone for their input.

Might have to rip apart the engine and look at clearances, i'll also check with the stethoscope and see if i hear it coming from the engine.

You don't need a stethescope, put a screwdriver to it and your ear at the other end, move it around , you will be amazed how well that works.
