if they have money to blow, why not save up for a nicer car?
sounds like your unintelligent.
Man.... come on now... That is an oxymoron of a statement to make, given your grammatical errors.
For one, I love all cars. I really like your car. People do alot of things I would never dream of doing to them, but that's because it is something they enjoy. At the end of the day, its all about the intrinsic value of the ownership and enjoyment of a vehicle you've poured a part of yourself into. Regardless of motivation. These people that do the stupid camber stuff could someday accidentally figure out a way to revolutionize the automotive industry. Great things have small, and sometimes absurd beginnings.
I think it is a culture. They do these things to impress friends who also do them. Or possibly because it is all they know. It is still a driving force for innovation. It keeps what we love alive.
My dream car is far from what yours is, and it would never be a brand new one. Does it mean that I am wasting my time or money based on the fact that what I buy isn't the latest or greatest? I think not.
I think my car culture and theirs meets in quite a few places. We're both striving to the same end: To enjoy the time spent modifying a vehicle to reflect ourselves.
Idiocy in action aside, the point being argued is moot.
