Used that U-Seal lick-m-n-stick-m stuff from the Home Depot and then just put one of those cheap garage rugs on to replace the oil soaked carpet. Worked out great other than the rug being a few inches two narrow. What a difference in the noise! Well worth the effort.

Is that an o2 canister....or a fire extinguisher? Or neither? Compressor? Shitty screen on this lap top.
Also, I'm curious why you didn't dynamat the rear bed. That would cut the noise quite a bit more than the carpet

I put it on all the floor pans in the Tbird...cuts the road noise to nearly nothing.

there will be no radio/cd player in the truck, the carpet will all be coming out eventually when the cage goes in

and the canister is Nitrogen, it was originally co2
