That's legitimately absurd. Is this some kind of private school?

I guess? I don't know If i'd call it a private school but I see where it could fall in that category for a few things.

I would talk to other parents and find out what they're paying.

It kinda sounds to me like they're taking advantage of you because you have money.

You're paying as much for 2 kids to go to early development school for a year as it would cost for 1 child to enroll and pay tuition at like Yale or Stanford for a year.

Sounds fishy to me.

It's a franchise. The pricing is almost identical all over the US.

I don't know if you've looked into it but childcare is fucking expensive. It's pretty hard to even find a ghetto daycare for less than 100/week per child and I feel bad for the kids going there

Edit -- They also have no clue what my occupation is. As far as they know, I could work at McDs and flip burgers for 90 hours a week to cover the cost.

its roughly 65$ a day per kid for a good place to bring your children. and im assuming they are there at least 6 hours

i couldnt even get some one to babysit, let alone do schooling type stuff for 10 dollars an hour out here....

I have an extensive family, so stuff like this has never been an issue.

Me, my siblings, and my cousins always had a place to be after school.

When I have kids, plenty of people will watch them for free.

So I just have no experience with daycare and it just sounds ridiculous.
That's ALOT of money to pay someone to make sure your kid doesn't eat glue.

The good news about Jimmy though, is that his kids are gonna be well ahead of everyone else in their class, and that'll cause everything to come easier to them as they had an early start. So that's pretty cool.

Unfortunately I'm not in the same boat. My entire family is 1400+ miles away in Wisconsin. My Wife's younger sister lives with my Inlaws and has a kid so It's roughly 3-4 times a year we can sneak away and rely on family to help out.

Luckily we have financial backing to do whatever we need to do so that allows us to travel with the kids and do the things we need to do. My wife and I both work in the business so she can come and go as she needs to play mom. The only downside is It puts more hours on me and makes me be in the loop with the sales girls. Can't stand those gossipy bitches but they pay my bills so we agree to disagree.
