I have an extensive family, so stuff like this has never been an issue.
Me, my siblings, and my cousins always had a place to be after school.
When I have kids, plenty of people will watch them for free.
So I just have no experience with daycare and it just sounds ridiculous.
That's ALOT of money to pay someone to make sure your kid doesn't eat glue.
The good news about Jimmy though, is that his kids are gonna be well ahead of everyone else in their class, and that'll cause everything to come easier to them as they had an early start. So that's pretty cool.
Unfortunately I'm not in the same boat. My entire family is 1400+ miles away in Wisconsin. My Wife's younger sister lives with my Inlaws and has a kid so It's roughly 3-4 times a year we can sneak away and rely on family to help out.
Luckily we have financial backing to do whatever we need to do so that allows us to travel with the kids and do the things we need to do. My wife and I both work in the business so she can come and go as she needs to play mom. The only downside is It puts more hours on me and makes me be in the loop with the sales girls. Can't stand those gossipy bitches but they pay my bills so we agree to disagree.
