super proud dad moment last night, was using the chainsaw cutting up fallen trees, and neither of the boy would cry about the sound and Conrad laughed when i would rev the saw up

Super sad dad moment today.

Got the itemized tax sheet from our daycare for the girls. Total cost from June to dec 31 - $19,162.20 :wallbash:

Never really thought about it until I got that sheet with the total on the bottom...

Been through three of them. My faith in nannies has been flushed down the shitter.

Avery (my oldest) excelled MUCH faster in the "daycare" than she did with the nannies we've had. She's also better cared for in my opinion. We entered her when she was ~20 months old

The following is all information from my wife so take it for what it's worth. The reason this is more expensive than a daycare is it's an "early learning school" I guess. They will go to this facility from x-K.

All I know about it is my kids are both well advanced compared to the average and on Saturday mornings my two year old gets pissed that there is no school. It also doesn't smell like shit or 3 day old piss when you walk in so that's a step above 90% of these places out there. Most importantly my Wife and Kids are happy with the place so I don't question it.

by all means, if thats what you see fit, i agree 100%

but i think i got lucky, my parents paid $100/week for the daycare lady i went to(literally a couple blocks away)

they wanted to put me 2 grades ahead of my age, if only i knew how to use scissors

thats one thing she didnt let us have due to her own children at a young age

Hey it's a horse a piece either way. I think both have their own pro's and con's. The only real thing I can pick at about the school is the sickness. That was one thing we didn't have nearly as much of when we had a nanny. Little shit's give me the man flu every time
