Probably a clone. Numbers matching 454's are uber expensive.

Also very hard to come by these days... ALOT of auto collectors are after them. I seen a top 5 most saught after american cars list and the 454 ss was on it along with the super bird and road runner

I've seen a few numbers matching 70' 454 SS's go well into 6 figures at Barret Jackson. Granted, 15 years ago they were worth a small percentage of that.

True, but so was everything else...

I gotta get out there to see some "bubba" jackson one of these years ;)

Thats a more desirable body style though, people don't like the 72s as much.

My dad was looking at getting a 70 afew years ago, but he went for the considerably cheaper camaro for obvious reasons lol. It would have still been a matching numbers car, just not barrett jackson quality
