So what your really trying to say is you would pay for some dick, just too cheap to pay $5. I would hate to think of the kind of dicks getting tossed your way. Your probably buying more than your paying for, taking a little something home for good because you want to be cheap. You get what you pay for.

two fitty and i'd buy it

So earlier last year I finally made the decision to purchase a second car. Something nice that I could have some fun with when I wanted. My car search varied quite a bit from start to finish, cars I looked at included: IS300, S2K, Vtec swapped <1973 Mini, S60 R, and eventually ended up at the NSX. I searched for many months and eventually narrowed down a great find at a dealer located close by, was for a completely stock 1991 NSX 49k miles, excellent condition with a recently changed clutch/timing belt/and brake pads. I let the idea fester over night and the next day I pulled the trigger and brought it home!

Being an older car it definitely needed some updated wheels and suspension, as well as a revamped audio system since the 20 y/o Bose system was about shot (not to mention it used cassette tapes! xD). Suspension wise I went with Tein Monoflex coilovers since I read good reviews on NSXprime, stance was lowered without very much compromise in the ride quality, I was satisfied.

Audio was completely redone as well, Polk Audio for the door/center speakers as well as tweeters. 8"sub in a custom enclosure hidden in the passenger side footwell and JL amp behind the drivers seat, all mated to a Pioneer AVIC-X930BT. Audio was finally in the 21st century lol.
Wheels were next, talk about a major pain in the ass... Finding a set of wheels with the correct offset/width/and staggered diameter was something I never want to go through again (as with tires for that matter). I decided on Enkei RPF1's since they are light and priced really well for a forged wheel, sized as 17"x 8" Front and 18"x 9.5 Rear.

Unfortunately they didn't come with center caps but I'll get to that later ;)

The first and third pics are my parents house. The middle pic is a work site my dad had a contract in when I visited him. It was the only pic I had of the car when I first lowered it so that's why it was used ;)

So progress is still coming along, currently in the process of restoring the interior. Got a couple of trim pieces that were scratched/worn replaced. I also received new seat upholstery from leatherseats.com since my existing seats are showing the most wear as far as interior goes. Also going to install seat heaters and wire it to an OEM JDM switch panel that replaces the coin tray. I'm keeping the oem ivory color since it looks nice, not really shooting for anything aggressive or flashy. I also ordered new floor mats to replace my worn ones.

On a side note I was bored and had the engine support out of the car, so I decided to sand it down and polish it before reinstalling, not perfect but it was a fun project.

I also did a compression test since I never did one before I bought the car (shame on me) numbers were very good: 200-220 across the range. Factory spec is ~199 so not sure why mine were higher but oh well.

Carbon deposits. They take up volume in the combustion chamber. That means your f rings and valves are good though.
