I'm doing 2" wide body rear fenders this fall. I can fit a 13" wide wheels and a 345 tire then.

How much of a PITA is it to tub a c5?

Probably a 7 on a 10 scale. I can fit a 345 with the 2" fenders and no tub. 13" wheels in C6Z offsets work perfectly. I'm going with the TPE fenders. They are the smoothest and most OEM looking ones available.

I'd say quite abit easier than a 7/10. Cut and fiberglass, not that bad. I would flare opposed to tub as well though, the flares look alot better and offsets on stock fender are already very high. I'd go L5 flares though.

I would have to see it in person I guess. That picture make it look.... odd. Even when overlooking all the pep boys stick ons.

I would personally tub it. You know you wont stay at 1050 forever.

If it doesn't bolt and unbolt it is over a 5/10 to me. I don't like the sharp crease of the L5 in person. I like the rounded TPE better especially when viewed from the back.

Unless I'm going to roll around on 15" slicks there is no reason to tub it. 345's are the widest size you can get in a drag radials or road racing tire. This isn't a challenger with a 9" wheel lololol

Lol.

I talked to the cow rep at wannagofast. He sent me some pictures of a few cars they have done that had the same fenders I'm looking at. I've narrowed it down to 3 options...

Like I said though, I would have to see it in person. I've only seen one altered body c5 that I know of and it was a poorly done widebody. It looked like hammered dog shit.

The picture you posted reminds me of those fender flares people put on old 240z's

The TPE fenders are actually the highest quality. The L5's are 2nd but they look like a truck flare to me. Leaving the front fenders stock it doesn't look good
