I know, it's just that it's my dream car, and since it's an acquaintance who currently owns it, I can even go and let him pay for parts/major repairs whilst I'll do the minor ones and he'll let me drive it around. There's a lot of bodywork to be done on it, and I like metalworking, so :).

There also un-reliable like you wouldnt believe, mainly the cooling system if i remember correctly. Not that fast and money hoggers. But whos complaining

Well, I'm not planning on using the E-type as a DD anyway. More of a twice a year tourer. It's a beautiful car (one of the best looking cars in history) and they seem fun to work with.

If you want it as a fun project and a car to drive on weekends and such then its pretty much a good idea.

But having one as a dd is a bad idea for sure.
