Long story short..

The scatpack was shipped to a local dealership, I test drove and wasn't a fan. The suspension on the SRT8 is perfect, with the scatpack it left soooo much to be desired.. And the interior was shotty at best.

Spoke to my wife, and she is encouraging me on buying a new srt8 Grand Cherokee... I'm going to test drive one in a few weeks to see what I think, but I'm also thinking about checking out a hellcat..

Shes getting annoyed now because I cant make my mind up.. But the Scatpack I wasn't a huge fan of.

I absolutely love these cars. I don't want to pay for a new one, and don't trust their reliability down the road so Ive never chased one. But I love them lol.

The projected reliability is terrible.. But lets be honest here..

Since 2015, dodge has turned their shit around under new ownership.. Their current line of models are incredible, and their performance line up are superb.. I'm a bit iffy still about owning a new Dodge, but the SRT8 Grand Cherokee became timeless since their conception, and I don't feel that they'll fade any time soon.

The Durango SRT8 on the other hand I bet will be like the Magnum SRT and fade into oblivion within 5 years of production.

I'm going to bring my wife up to a dodge dealership in a month or so in Northern VA where they have a large amount of cars on site, and I'm going to trick her into sitting in a Hellcat, and if their is a used one on lot I will test drive that bad boy.

Mebe i'll be able to convince her a Hellcat could make a good DD/Grocery gitter?

Didn't you say she wanted a porsche? No way a chick will ever pick a dodge over Porsche, performance or not, brand = bragging rights to them.

And even if she did, you gonna tolerate her having a better car than you do? Lol

😂 she said she’s going to wait and drive the VW for a few more years. Than gave me the go ahead to raise my budget a bit.

Not trying to bust your bubble but FCA has a nationwide policy regarding test driving hellcats. They don't do it.

I like the Cherokees too

I figured that was with the new models, not the used models? Or am I incorrect to assume that if I walk in with 70k cash, they wont let me test drive it? >_<..

Either way, I'm leaning more towards the Cherokee.. It's a bad ass truck..

The dealers I've been to will not do a test drive until all of the paperwork is done. If you had cash you might get them to work with you on a used one but I haven't seen a used one on a dealer lot yet.

They're starting at the dealership in the low 90s, I cant justify spending 90 grand on a jeep.

Hell, I cant justify spending 90k on a vehicle period.
