You drive a notoriously bad CVT, and you're trying to say all CVTs are like that.
I've driven a 6 speed WRX and a CVT WRX side by side.
Have you?
While I preferred the manual, I would have taken the CVT over a standard auto anyday.
The damn thing could imitate an 8 speed automatic trans, and while on that setting, it legitimately felt like a standard auto.
But in whatever it's highest trans setting was called, the thing would just gun to redline and moooove. It was faster 20-80mph than the 5 speed was, by a good margin. But off the line was just an absolute dog.
But yeah man, you know everything about CVTs with your little ecobox lancer
in case you are retarded, which you obviously is

On my car
The rpm will cap out at 3k...4k...5k...etc and will stay at that rpm and keep accelerating...the rpm will eventually go down once you reach your speed
On a normal automatic or manual transmission...your rpm will go from 1.5k- 2k to 4-5-6-7k ++ and that will give you more power because you use the full power of a gear before switching to another one..my cvt will instead shift as soon as it can so you never get that full power peak...it is no big deal for me..but it is something you need to be aware of
I highlighted, bolded, made the font bigger
I can not do much more here
