Starting my shopping for a C6 or C7. Ive seen a few C7s getting into the sub $40k range but they have had 50-60k miles on them. I don't think I want to go with something with that many miles on it, but it got me thinking. How do they tend to hold up once they start getting up there in mileage? A friend of mine works at Carmax and says he sees tons of them with rear end problems once they get over 60-70k. If I get a C7, it will be a daily driver for many years to come, so Im not too concerned with losing the value from the mileage but the reliability is important.
these cars weren't meant for a every day work/shoping/life drive.... these are sports cars... like every sport car.... the wear is much greater doe to much stronger reactions that take place inside the engine there for if the car was not taken care of aka overall maintenance etc any sports car with over 75K that hasnt had much work done just wont last... you got all the engine seals failing due to higher temps, i mean a sports car is like a newborn baby that never grows up u gotta always be taking care of it... so if u buyin a sports car either buy a brand new one or a used certified with good sports warranty on it not them shity public warranties
what really has me wondering is why would u want to buy an expensive uncomfortable car for a every day drive i mean if u can afford it sure... but still even for a loaded guy driving it every day would be a waste.
