I'm not sure what your state laws allow, but in Indiana the best way to go about it (without a cat massacre) is to have your insurance or police (we do it here, idk about there) document the damage, animal control will seize the cats and take them to the pound. Any damage done can also be charged to the owner. I mean you might not ever see the cash, but id take the bitch to civil court for damages. Even as a LE officer here i would suggest a good penetrating BB gun or a nice green substance that will solve the problem.
